work out week 1

So, I have 8.5 pounds to lose.  I want to lose this in 8 weeks (hopefully).  Goal is to lose the pregnancy weight before getting pregnant again.

I know what I have to do to lose the weight. 
  1. Eat better, keeping sweets to one a day or not at all.  Cooking at home is KEY, no fast food or french fries/bread. 
  2. Work out doing minimum of 45 minutes of cardio at least 4 times a week 
So, this past week has been my first week back to the gym (thanks Christie for sharing your gym membership with me).  I am going to try and keep myself accountable and though blogging about it might help!

Monday- 30 minutes on low stationary bike, 15 minutes walk/run (ran 1/2 mile) on treadmill, did 60 crunches
Tuesday-Worked at Bargain Box hanging clothes (not much of a workout but I was standing for 2 hours straight)
Wednesday-25 min on high bike, 15 min. on treadmil walk/run, 100 crunches
Thursday-25 min on low bike, 15 min on treadmil walk/run, 130 crunches
Friday-was going to go to gym, bag packed and had a really stressful day at work so instead I snuggled with Chris.

My thoughts on of week #1:  I am pleased that I worked out 3 times, I am not trying to stress myself out losing this weight, but I do NEED to get back into my normal clothes.
